Some of our signature projects:
Signature project:
One Lombard Street Brasserie
We recently completed the commercial painting and decorating project for a full refurbishment of the famous 1 Lombard Street, the Square Mile's most established restaurant and arguably it's best placed.
The restaurant is sited in pole position next to Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, and directly opposite the Bank of England.
Housed in a former Grade II-listed bank, it was opened in 1998 by former banker Soren Jessen and comprises a 1776 restaurant, Brasserie, Bar, Private Dining and Events rooms.
1 Lombard Street is where the City meets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, launches new businesses, signs deals and celebrates profits. And it's even where the City gets married.
We were called in to undertake this large project which we, as professional commercial decorators, were able to complete on time and to a very high standard.
Signature project:
The Royal Horticultural Halls
A recent signature commercial decorating project we completed is the refurbishment of Lindley Hall in Westminster. The classic Edwardian building is owned by the Royal Horticultural Society and used for a wide range of events.
Dating back to 1904, the Hall is an echo of Britain at its finest. King Edward VII wanted the Royal Horticultural Society to have its own purpose-built exhibition space.
The hall was designed by Edwin J Stebbs. He chose red brick with stone dressings and banding, with Arts and Crafts features and Renaissance details. Stebbs wanted to achieve as much natural light as possible and the glass roof has stood the test of time well. Now, with a sliding shutter mechanism open the hall is flooded with light but also offers the alternative of a full blackout.
Besides a wide range of public and private events including conferences, exhibitions, fashion shows, banquets, weddings, and product launches the hall also provides a stunning backdrop for music videos, car launches, adverts and films.
We were contracted to completely repaint the hall to very exacting standards and finished the job successfully against a tight deadline.
"Throughout my dealings with your company I found you to be professional at all stages from initial enquiries, quoting for the work which was competitive, and the final delivery of the project.
I was very happy with the standard of work that was achieved, the pre-planning and the working practices evident when on site."

Signature project:
National Opera Studio
"I am happy to recommend G.D Parvin, Painters and Decorators. Geoff Parvin's team undertook the internal and exterior redecoration of the National Opera Studio. The work was carried out efficiently and on time and I was happy with the quality of the work. The painters who carried out the work were conscientious and reliable and the work was well supervised by Geoff Parvin. I would be happy to use G.D. Parvin, Painters and Decorators for any decorating work in the future."
